Ian Steps Down

The board of directors has accepted with disappointment chairman Ian Letham’s decision to stand down from the club board.

Ian became chair in 2007 but, due to personal circumstances, regretfully he is now no longer able to continue as a director of the Bully Wee. Whilst notifying the board, Ian wished to thank the staff, directors and everyone connected with the club that has helped throughout difficult times. He also stressed that he hopes to offer whatever help he can in the future.

Clyde Football Club would like to put on record its thanks to Ian for his hard work and dedication over the years. Most recently, he reinvigorated the drive to revolutionise the club’s ownership structure and that is just one example of how he has always worked with the best of intentions of the club at heart.

Ian, of course, remains a supporter and leaves the board with the best wishes of everyone associated with Clyde FC.

John Alexander will assume the role of interim chairman.
