Gerry Completes Leap of Faith

While Saturday may not have been a great day for the team, it was a very special one for Clyde fan Gerry Dunn.

He completed the brave feat of a tandem skydive at Strathallan Airfield, to raise money for the Back the Bully Wee campaign.

Speaking after the epic event, Gerry said: “Needless to say, when you’re looking down from the door of the plane, you do get the thought, ‘This is absolutely crazy’ but by then it’s too late to do anything about it! Once you’re out in freefall the adrenaline rush is indescribable.

“I’m still hopeful we will get £2000 sponsorship and I reckon over 100 people have contributed so I really appreciate their support.

“Hopefully it’s another small step in getting the club back on an even keel.”
