School of Football Set to Grow

Sat, 13th Jun 2009 5:52pm

The Clyde School of Football, the club's official community programme, is looking for new players in four age groups.

All kids born in 1999 and 2000 are welcome to come along and enjoy the football in a fun and relaxed environment. Training for the 1999s is on Mondays and Fridays at 6pm, with the 2000s meeting on the same days at 7pm.

New teams for youngsters born in 2001 and 2002 are also being developed, with participation with the 2000 group available until sufficient numbers are involved.

The School of Football encourages all children to take part, regardless of background or ability. Click here for further information on the programme or email Alan Upton at [email protected].

Mini Kickers

A very popular Mini Kickers class (pictured) is currently taking place on Sunday mornings for 3 to 5-year-olds. It's the first time the scheme has been held at Broadwood and it's proving to be a big success.

The current block ends on 21st June.

The next 9-week session is due to start on 5th July, every Sunday until 30th August. The full block can be booked for just £22.50 in advance, or can be paid each week for £3. Enquiries should again be sent to Alan at [email protected], with all cheques payable to 'Clyde School of Football.'
