Golf Day Makes a Splash!

The club’s third annual celebrity golf day took place on Friday and, despite the poor weather conditions, was very much enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

The course at Lenzie Golf Club stood up well to the heavy morning rain, which improved for the afternoon play. A number of celebrities from the football world and beyond helped make it a memorable day for all the golfers that took part.

Once again the sum raised for the club exceeded the £10,000 mark.

Director in charge of the event, Frank Dunn said:-

“I would like to thank Ken Forrest, captain of Lenzie Golf Club, the club professional Jim McCallum and all the bar and green staff who made the day such a success.

“Thanks also go to those from the club who worked so hard and of course to the participants for their generosity on the day.”
