Brighton Claim Rejected

FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber has rejected the club’s claim for training compensation from Millwall FC, with regards the transfer of Tom Brighton.

Brighton signed for the Bully Wee in August 2005 and, following a very successful season, left in May 2006 to sign for the English club.

The claim was rejected on two grounds; Brighton’s age (21) when he signed for Clyde and the date of the contract renewal offer made to him.
