Clyde midfielder David McGowan has agreed a one month loan deal with Arbroath this afternoon. John Brown commented, "It’s a good opportunity for the lad. David will continue to train with us during the week and play for Arbroath on the Saturday. Hopefully he can get a few goals get his confidence up and we will all get the benefit when he returns."

Meanwhile John has appointed Lindsay Hamilton as goalkeeping coach on a temporary basis. Hamilton made over 500 league appearances during his playing career and brings with him vast experience from his time at a number of clubs including Rangers, St. Johnstone and Dunfermline.

"Lindsay is set to move to a new job next month but in the meantime will assist us at training and on Saturdays," the Clyde boss said. "He started working with the keepers this morning and will be at Cappielow tomorrow."
