The Bully Wee Set for Debut

Wed, 24th Sep 2008 10:45pm

The Bully Wee, owned by Clyde fans Virginia and Phil Caplan, is set for a first race at Musselburgh in November.

He is pictured right in training on the gallops at Jonathan Jay Stables and is currently aiming for a maiden debut in the Willie Park Trophy Raceday on Friday 7th November.

Virginia and Phil, from Canterbury, proudly named him after the club's famous nickname. Not only that, but the jockey's silks will show off the Clyde colours and badge.

The couple make their way up to Broadwood when they can and on their next visit on October 4th they will also be purchasing clothing from the Club Shop for all the stable staff to wear at race meetings.

The Official Website will bring you more news and pictures of The Bully Wee's progress as his debut approaches.
