The attention was firmly on Hamilton and their officials on Saturday but caught up with John Brown today for his thoughts:-

"The players were disappointed this morning. It was always going to be a hard shift after Neil got sent off and at 2-0 it could have been four or five so we kept it tight.

"Neil's sending off is done now and we have to look ahead. We're a bit short of bodies at the back but we'll rally again and focus on our job of winning the match, first and foremost.

The Bully Wee must better whatever result Morton manage at Firhill to avoid going into the play-offs next week. Incredibly, the possibility of a dead heat between the clubs also still remains. John continued:-

"The fight going to the last day is a situation I always suspected might happen. We've got to win the game and the boys will be up for it. Morton have a difficult game away from home and we have to look on that as a positive.

"We managed to score three against Livingston in our last home match and we'll be setting up to have a go. We're going to create chances but we must also make sure that we don't give away too many opportunities at the back."
