Day of Destiny?

Fri, 18th Apr 2008 8:00pm

Clyde boss John Brown spoke to the Official Website on the eve on what is hopefully the penultimate game of the season for The Bully Wee: "Without doubt it will be a special occasion as there will be a bigger than usual crowd in attendance, a greater media spotlight and Accies will see this as their best chance of winning the league.

"Apart from Craig (McKeown) and Mikey (McGowan) I'll have a full squad to choose from and I'm sure the players will enjoy the atmosphere.

"For us the importance of this game is clear but we'll not be looking elsewhere at results. Our destiny, like that of Hamilton, lies in our own hands."

Defender Chris Higgins issued a rallying call to supporters when he spoke on Revival FM tonight:-

"We know there is going to be a big Hamilton support but it would be good to see a lot of bodies in the away end as well. It would make a big difference to the lads to get a good backing during the match."
