Preferred Candidate Chosen

Club Chairman Ian Letham contacted the Official Website this evening: “Further to media speculation, I can confirm that the Board will be meeting John Brown at lunchtime tomorrow with a view to concluding negotiations and appointing him manager of Clyde Football Club.

“My plan is that John will then meet with the players at 1.30pm prior to our match with Hamilton.”

Ian also gave his view on the positions of Dougie Bell and Gary Bollan:-

“Both have been excellent for the club. Dougie has been a loyal servant to Clyde over the last few years and Gary has achieved a lot in heading up our youth development programme. As mentioned before, he has also been great in assisting the training this week.

“Both are well thought of at the club I am extremely hopeful that they will be a part of our future, working alongside the new manager.”
