Cup Squad Update

Clyde boss Colin Hendry gave a quick update on team news for the eagerly awaited cup tie with Dundee United, whilst driving up to Huntly this afternoon: “It’s pretty simple really; the squad will be on the same lines as Saturday as we have everyone available for the match.”

Colin put the players through their paces this morning at Broadwood in preparation for the club’s meeting with the SPL side: “It was an excellent session and everybody is, of course, looking forward to the game.”

Colin added, “I was also especially pleased with the performance of a former Premiership player today in training. Just ask any of the players how well he did but alas he won’t be ready for tomorrow night. I simply wouldn’t have the stamina!!!”

“Seriously though, it has been a good 48 hours for the club. Sky confirming their coverage of the game was fantastic and getting Pat Clarke on board is a real boost. Hopefully Pat’s signature will be a sign of things to come and I want to assure the fans that we are trying hard to make further additions to the squad.”
