Business As Usual

It was business as usual today at Broadwood as the players returned to training following Saturday’s fiery encounter with Dundee.

Director John Ruddy commented: “Dougie Bell and Gary Bollan are taking the training today so the boys are in good hands. Both of these guys know the game inside out.

“Dougie has demonstrated a tremendous commitment to the club over the past three years. Gary is also held in very high regard and it is great that he has been able to assist the club at this time, in addition to his ongoing work with our youth development programme.

“I know the players were very impressed at the way Dougie and Gary led the dressing room on Saturday and all gave very positive feedback following what was an excellent performance.”

John concluded, “As Frank said last night we are all aware of the potential benefits of making a quick appointment but the primary concern has to be to get the right calibre of manager in and therefore we will not rush to appoint just for the sake of it.”
