Trust Update

Fans are reminded that the this year’s Clyde Supporters’ Trust AGM will be held at Broadwood Stadium on Thursday 29th November at 7.30pm. Gordon Nisbet, 21ish, spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk: “It is legal requirement to hold an AGM and so some aspects have to be formal event but don’t let that put you off! The night will also give fans a further opportunity to put forward their views on how their Trust is run. So it is an important night for members. If you haven’t joined yet then don’t worry you can join on the night!”

The Trust Board has recent been reduced to six with the recent departures of Rosemary Brooking and Tom McCorkindale so there are four vacancies. Gordon continued, “We have recently developed a detailed person specification for the role of director and a self nomination form. If you are interested then members can e mail the trust at info@clydetrust.org for the forms or pick them up on the night.

“The Board requires a variety of skills but the most important qualities are being reliable, enthusiastic, having the ability to learn, with a good measure of patience and most important of all the possession of a sense of humour! So, if you have the time, then why not consider coming off the bench and joining the Trust board!”
