Win For Youth Side

Clyde’s youngsters lifted spirits somewhat today with a fine 4-2 win at Stirling Albion in the Second Round of the SFA Youth Cup.

Roddy MacLennan scored a hat-trick for the Bully Wee and Stephen Connolly grabbed the other goal. The entertaining match at Forthbank had been evenly poised at 2-2 until two more Clyde goals secured the club’s passage into the next round.

The Under-19 team, who are now undefeated in four matches, must wait to see who their Third Round opponents will be. This match is scheduled to take place on Sunday 11th November.
