Club Statement

Clyde FC today announced the appointment of Ian Letham as its new Chairman. The long standing ‘Bully Wee’ fan has stepped up from his position as Director to drive the club through the next stage of its development.

Speaking after the appointment, a Clyde spokesman confirmed, “This is the culmination of discussions designed to restructure the club’s operations and we are delighted that Len McGuire will continue in his role as a Director.

“During his time in the chair, Len has proved a steadying influence through what has been a transitional period behind the scenes and a highly successful one in footballing terms. Now that this phase has been negotiated, we are looking to the future.”

Letham, a successful Managing Director in his own right, has impressed with his commercial approach and the Board is committed to driving the club forward under his leadership.

This appointment is the first in a series of changes designed to re-focus the direction of the club moving forward.
