Work Begins For Colin

Colin Hendry’s work at Broadwood began today, with a very well attended press conference concluding a busy first day as Clyde Manager.

Colin told the Official Website that he had a number of priority issues to attend to including organising pre-season fixtures, arranging training facilities and continuing negotiations with out of contract players. Brian Gilmour was one player that he had already been able to make contact with and start discussions.

Another important task, of course, is that of appointing an Assistant and the Manager was happy to state that his search will be for someone who will also play for The Bully Wee.

After spending the next week in England concluding some business, Colin will return to Scotland full-time and he noted that he doesn’t expect to get another holiday any time soon! A definite date for the Fans’ Forum has yet to be set but it looks likely to take place after pre-season training has begun in early July.

Colin also confirmed his absolute commitment to giving the Clyde support all news and views through www.clydefc.co.uk first wherever possible.
