After a hectic few days, Frank Dunn gave the Official Website a closing perspective from the Board on the process that eventually led to Colin Hendry being appointed as Manager of Clyde FC:-

“The Board are naturally delighted with the appointment of Colin Hendry. We were determined to have a good procedure in place starting with an assessment of all the candidates, followed by shortlisting and then a detailed interview process.

“We also set out criteria against which all the candidates were measured and Colin ticked all the boxes. We were very impressed with him from the outset and it became apparent that Colin liked the set up and the excellent squad of young players already committed to the club.

“The process, we believe, resulted in a candidate of the highest quality emerging and accepting our offer as Manager. I would like to place on record my thanks to all those involved in the appointment of Colin.
