New Appointments

Clyde are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Letham to the Football Club Board. Ian is managing director of Roof-fix Supplies Ltd and as a director of Clyde will bring his skills in marketing and sales to the club.

As a long standing member of the Bully Wee’s Executive Club, Ian knows all too well the highs and the lows of following Clyde and is delighted to assist in the challenge of enhancing Clyde’s commercial activities.

He has not been slow to act and has brought former Clyde player Martin O’Neill and his company to work in partnership with the club.

Martin played over 90 times for Clyde and was awarded five Scotland Under-21 caps before moving to Kilmarnock. The 31-year-old has been successful off the park as well, married to Louise and father to two sons with another child on the way in July. Martin has established a career in financial services and is the Managing Director of Smarter Mortgages and Insurance Services Ltd.

Martin O’Neill Consultancy will be given the day to day responsibility of generating income for the football club and O’Neill spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk:

“I’m really excited to be returning to Clyde with the objective of helping the club grow. It will be my responsibility to create a highly motivated sales team, who will deliver a greater presence for the Club regionally and nationally in the year ahead.

“This team will be targeted aggressively on creating and enhancing income to strengthen the Club’s finances. We want it to be clear that the rewards of our efforts will be Clyde FC and ask the fans to embrace our more active role in the coming weeks and months.”
