Big Kick Off Getting Closer

The Clyde squad are continuing their preparations ahead of this season’s opener at Perth against St Johnstone. The SFL couldn’t have given Clyde a tougher start with fixtures against St Johnstone and Gretna and with the pundits once more predicting doom and gloom it would be understandable for the mood in the camp to be down.

However it is evident that there exists a quiet confidence from the coaching staff and playing staff, as people consider last season’s performances of the team and their continued development over the summer which has seen a series of positive displays.

At present there is no word of additions to the squad, the website understands however that following his brief appearance against Hearts at the weekend Keith Shevlin has been training with the squad this week.
