New Season, New Clyde Suite

Following discussions and consultations over the summer involving representatives of the following; Clyde FC, Broadwood Stadium Ltd, NLC Licensing Board, Clyde Supporters’ Trust, Castlemilk Branch and Glasgow Branch, agreement has been reached to open the Clyde Suite as a Supporters Bar (“Fanzone”) on match days starting with our first home match v Gretna on 12th August.

The Fanzone will be open prior to the match for sale of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, at half-time for the sale of hot food only and at the end of the game until 5.30pm allowing the opportunity to buy a quick pint and discuss the game.

Clyde FC have given their commitment to give the interior of the Suite a more “Clyde friendly” feel to it and are also committed to installing two plasma screen televisions

Due to the current Licensing legislation, in order to have this facility available entry to the Fanzone is required to be via a Membership Scheme Only. An adult membership fee for this season has been set at the token rate of £5.00. For under-18s entry is free but they must be accompanied by an adult member at all times.

The membership subscription is solely intended to cover the cost of the stewarding required and printing costs, both being met by the Supporters’ Trust initially. It will be an essentially non-profit making initiative.
