Getting Ready To Return
Clyde’s tour of Canada is drawing to a close and is now certainly beginning to take on a different pace. After what proved to be a physical encounter against the CPSL All Stars, with Craig Bryson and Tom Brighton in particular left nursing injuries, the squad are now enjoying some relaxation and sightseeing.
The players are due to return to Scotland on Thursday morning but prior to that are set for a trip to Niagara Falls. The trip has certainly proved to be worthwhile with Clyde boss Graham Roberts adamant about its value, “I think the facilities and the trip have demonstrated again to the players that Clyde are on the up.”
The work doesn’t end on Thursday however as assistant Joe Miller has explained previously, “On our return the players will be asked to come into Broadwood for a couple of days. We will then discuss some of the outstanding contract negotiations and say our goodbyes before breaking for the summer.”
