Clyde FC School of Football took another step forward recently with the news that its teams will be represented in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth District Leagues next season. League secretary Thomas Meechan was pleased to welcome Clyde to the sevens league where the emphasis is placed very much on learning soccer skills and fun instead of competition.

Club director John Ruddy commented, "When we formed the Clyde FC School of Football we were especially keen in becoming members of the local league but we had to wait until the official window for applications was opened. As a club we look forward to working with the other teams so that as many local youngsters as possible can enjoy playing and learning about football."

The Clyde FC School of Football is administered by the Clyde Supporters Trust. For further details on the initiative contact the Clyde office on 01236 451511.
