The Gretna and Clyde Under 19s put on a terrific game of football on Friday night in a match that finished in a one each draw. Gretna opened the scoring when Bingham miss hit a pass and the Gretna forward took no time in slotting it home.

However five minutes before the break Shields got the equaliser after a corner resulted in a goalmouth scramble. In the second half, the Bully Wee took the ascendancy but despite having a lot of possession Gretna looked dangerous on the break.

Clyde thought they had taken maximum points following a tremendous McKenna header only to be thwarted by a terrific save from the visiting goalkeeper ultimately denying the lads a much needed victory.
