Both managers spoke to the media after Clyde's 3-1 victory over Airdrie United. Graham Roberts was first to face the press, "Once the sending off was done it was just about keeping the concentration. I said at halftime we had won the game but what we needed to do was keep the ball but to be fair to them they did well in the second half. We had some moves when we passed the ball properly but it did look like an end of season match as the game wore on."

"They put the ball in the right areas and they could have scored a couple of goals which was disappointing but in the end of it its three points we've beaten them three times and we've done to them what St Johnstone and St Mirren have done to us."

"We've got four games left which will be hard and that will determine who will be here next year. There is probably another 4 or 5 fighting for their lives at the moment we know we have to strengthen next year and that's why myself and Joe are giving the squad two days off this week so that we can go and look at 5 or 6 players."

"Still we would have settle for this at the start two more wins and fifth is guaranteed. We've beaten Celtic, played Rangers off the park. So I would say we have had a fantastic season.

Finally commenting on the Scottish Cup semi final and the fact that the Bully Wee lost to finalists Gretna, "We got beat by fair and square we thought Gretna would beat St Mirren because they were a strong side but I just wish we had a few of their millions!"

Sandy Stewart was obviously more disappointed with the outcome of the game, "I thought it was a harsh penalty. It was basically bad defending: two corners two goals. Players not picking up people in the box you can't do anything about that for that no matter how much training or talking you do throughout the week you cannot legislate for what individuals do."

"Before the game they are told exactly who to pick up and then it's up to them. It's lack of concentration or slackness. If we give three goals away like that we'll never win games. Its frustrating as I was delighted in the way the players played in the second half, we put their goal under pressure 4 or 5 times and got our reward with Bryan's goal but even then, if we had kept it to 2-0 then it would have been game on.

"For the second week in a row the strikers have had some shift. We went man for man at the back making sure if Clyde had a spare man then it would only have been the sweeper and the second half worked to plan."

"3-1 flattered them on the day especially in the second half our general play was fine, we kept our discipline and shape and it never looked like Clyde would run riot but the goals we conceded were ridiculous."
