Graham Roberts was delighted to confirm to the website this evening that four of the current squad have today agreed new terms. The news gives further evidence of the progress being made by Clyde off the field and the announcement is sure to cheer Bully Wee supporters.

Neil McGregor, Eddie Malone, Stephen O'Donnell and Robert Harris have all agreed deals to the end of season 2006/07 and Graham Roberts is keen to add further stability and continuity to the squad. "I'm talking to other players in the squad and hope to announce other deals soon. The important thing is that these guys and the others who sign up are demonstrating their committment to what we are trying to achieve here. They want to play for Clyde and that is good news."

"There was no way that the Club could be left with two players in the summer like previous years. We need to develop on what we have achieved to date and hopefully this sends the message to the fans that we are serious about the club moving forward. It's a good day and I'm pleased that we are making progress on and off the park."
