Pmc Take Over Security Tasks At Clyde Matches

With effect from Saturday's home match with St. Johnstone, Clyde match day security operations will be managed by PMC Security of Paisley.

St. Mirren, Hamilton Academical, Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Albion Rovers, Morton, Stranraer and Celtic have all called on PMC's services in the recent past or are current PMC clients. This wide experience of football, serving a diverse group of football clubs, will be used to meet Clyde's specific needs at Broadwood.

The appointment of PMC has provided the opportunity to split the provision of security at Clyde home matches with the operation of the turnstiles.

As from the home match with Hamilton Academical on 15 October, turnstile operations will be handled by a specialist group of people provided by Premier Recruitment.

The aim of these changes is to provide efficient access into the Stadium and a safe environment once inside the Stadium. As usual, these operations will be closely monitored by Strathclyde Police, Broadwood Stadium (Cumbernauld) Ltd and Clyde FC to ensure that there is consistent compliance with the Safety at Sports Grounds legislation.
