Jim Murray, Managing Director of Clyde Football Club, spoke to the website today to inform the supporters of the progress being made to appoint a new first team manager.

“The process is ongoing. As soon as the vacancy became apparent the Club was approached by a number of interested parties. It certainly would have been easy to appoint someone quickly but we felt it was vital to be clear about what we wanted and ultimately match our requirements with the skills and experience of the candidates.”

“We are interviewing at the moment but I can’t put a timescale on when we will successfully conclude our search. It is essential that the right man is appointed to the post. The supporters can be assured that we are trying our utmost to deliver just that.”
