Loan Deals Extended

Billy Reid confirmed to the website tonight that Paul Doyle and David Greenhill will extend their stay at Montrose. Both players will sign new loan deals that will take them to the end of the season at the Links Park club.

“Paul and David continue to train with us so I’ve been able to monitor their progress. Both have done extremely well, with Paul being an ever present since his move. It is obvious how they have benefited from being in regular first team action”.

Paul played in Montrose’s marvellous 5-1 victory over Forfar Athletic in the Scottish Cup on Saturday. Billy continued: “We don’t have a reserve team and it would be a step back for them to only play occasionally or sit in the stand. This extension is ideal for us all as it allows them to develop and keeps us in contact with them”.
