Recent media speculation has stated that First Division chairmen are due to meet together to discuss several issues including refereeing standards but Clyde’s acting chairman John Taylor was unaware of any such moves.

“Certainly a few years ago Roy McGregor of Ross County got the clubs together at Broadwood to discuss common concerns,” recalled John, “but as of yet we have heard nothing apart from what the fans have heard on television.”
