Broadwood Stadium – Councillor Jim Logue Comments

For the record, in view of some media speculation yesterday concerning Clyde Football Club and also the development of Broadwood Stadium, the comments made by Councillor Jim Logue (Chairman of Broadwood Stadium (Cumbernauld) Limited) on 5 July 2004, are repeated here.

“There have been no further decisions on the future of the fourth stand at Broadwood Stadium in light of the Scottish Premier League’s position on seating requirements for Premier League stadia.

“We are currently working with a consultant to conduct an audit of all the facilities within the Broadwood Stadium development and will use this information to determine the way forward.

“We remain committed to the development of Broadwood Stadium as a valuable community resource and will be holding a public consultation meeting next week as an important part of this process.”
