Harty Should Win Says Ak

Alan Kernaghan has backed Ian Harty to win the PFA First Division Player of the Year accolade after the striker learned this week that he had been nominated for the award.

The manager said:

“I’m amazed that more of our players didn’t get nominated because a number of them have been fantastic this year, but I hope Ian gets what he deserves. He’s been terrific for us, but again I would stress that so have many others.”

Ian will find out whether or not he has been successful at a dinner to be held on Sunday night in Glasgow.
