Ak: Don’T Forget &Quot;Harry&Quot;

Following the news that John Potter will finally get his hernia operation next week, Alan Kernaghan has emphasised his disappointment at losing the defender from the first-team and hopes the support won’t forget his performances at the start of the season.

The manager said:-

“This has taken way to long. We’ve been caught in the middle of medical advice so we weren’t quite sure what was going on.

“It’s unfortunate for John and whether or not he will play again this season depends on the recovery time. Hopefully it will only be 4 or 5 weeks out and he’ll be able to play towards the end of the season.

“He’s a very valuable member of the squad who is good to have in the dressing room. There’s no way I’ll forget the job he did for us at the start of the season and I hope the fans won’t either.

“He’s been great since he came to the club and it’s a shame for him and us that this has gone on for so long.”
