Clyde 2 V 1 Airdrie United

Tue, 23rd Sep 2003 12:00am

Goals from Andy Millen and substitute Mark Gilhaney secured a fighting comeback and a place in the Third Round of the CIS Cup tonight.

Airdrie took the lead early in the second half through Martin Glancy, but Andy Millen pounced on a loose ball in the box soon after to equalise. Gilhaney later grabbed the winner when he turned in the box and scrambled the ball into the net, before former Bully Wee player David Dunn was shown the red card for a dangerous tackle on Millen.
