Season'S Preview #2

By Alan Kernaghan (Manager)

Like me, I'm sure you're all itching for the new season to get underway. It's one that the team and I go into with a very positive outlook and we all know that only promotion will do.

We learned a lot last season in lots of departments; how to win, how not to lose and a good deal on what it will take to win the title this season.

The League looks very strong with many teams making big changes. I don't think that the winners will achieve the same amount of points that we did last season in coming second, and instead of 4 teams vying for top spot there will be 6 or 7.

We only have one new signing so far in Ian Harty, who has already looked good and scored a great goal against Bristol Rovers. We are actively trying to bring in new players but it is proving difficult. The reasons so far are either they don't meet our standards or they are too expensive, but the search goes on.

I look forward to seeing you all next Saturday for the first League game against Ayr, and remember to bring a mate with you!! Don't worry, we'll entertain them, and hopefully come May we will all be looking forward to a Premierleague campaign.

Best Wishes,

Alan Kernaghan
