Welcome Return For Millen

Fri, 6th Dec 2002 12:00am

Midfield general Andy Millen, much missed at Inverness last week, should be fit enough to return to the starting line-up for tomorrow's vital match with St.Johnstone.

Bryan Smith and Paul Kane, however, are still out with calf strains. John Potter is suspended and Mark McLaughlin completes the quartet of absentees...

"Mark is making decent progress," Alan Kernaghan said today. "I still expect him to be back playing around new year."

On the match, Alan said:-

"It's important we win to keep in touch with the leaders but, more importantly, to get us back to winning ways again. If we win we can prove that last week was just a blip, much like Falkirk did at St.Johnstone last week having been beaten by us. The quicker we get back playing and get last Saturday's poor showing out our systems the better."

"A win would open up a 6 point gap between us and St.Johnstone, and would also mean that we gained 6 out of 9 points against the top sides."

"I'm not interested in the St.Johnstone support tomorrow, it's all part of football but nothing to me."
