Trialists Scally And Lacovella May Play At Stenny

Alan Kernaghan has brought in two potential signing targets as trialists and both may feature in today's friendly against Stenhousemuir at Ochilview. Twenty-three year old midfielder Neil Scally comes in from Ayr United and twenty-one year old left-sided French defender Elio Iacovella is now named as the second newcomer.

Scally (pictured), signed for Ayr in 1998 after coming through their youth system as a highly rated youngster. He went to Glenafton on loan for a year and returned to established himself as a first team regular in 1999/00, winning over the Ayr support with a determined style of play. Since then though, his first team appearances have decreased and he only made 10 last season. Neil could be a very useful addition to the squad.

Stevie Convery is slightly doubtful for the game, but apart from that Alan has a full squad to choose from. Jose Carlos Asin may play but it will probably start on the bench.
