Clyde 2 Partick Thistle 1: Match Reaction

Alan Kernaghan:

"It was an important win for us. We played very well against a good team, as they showed in the last 20 minutes or so, pinning as back in our own box and we found it difficult."

"The back three all played exceptionally well. I'm pleased for John Potter, he wasn't playing in his natural position and was playing with new people but he produced a really mature performance. As did Bryan and Simon so I'm pleased with the three of them. And also Bryn, he helped us out on occasions when he was needed."

"I don't know how many points we need to stay up, but to be absolutely sure I'd say we need two more wins. If we beat Ayr on Saturday we'll be alright. I told the players before the game, that Thistle have no better players in their dressing room than we have in ours, but they have been more consistent. Which is why they are in the position they are in now."
