As the team lines indicate, Clyde fielded another experimental team at Ochilview (pictured) and not surprisingly it was the Warriors who looked the more organised side in the first half. The home team also created the majority of chances of the first half.

The Bully Wee’s only real effort of the first half was a shot that went just wide which came from the boot of twenty-nine year old Serbian midfield trialist Goran Zujovic.

Also going wide was a sliced shot from Stenhousemuir’s Lee Collins in the thirty-fifth minute, when it seemed easier to score. Despite squandering this chance, Stenny remained on top and demonstrated some confidence by trying to chip Bryn Halliwell on at least two occasions.

Three half-time changes to the Clyde team gave three of the Club's most promising youngsters a chance to sho what they can do but the Warriors still looked the more likely.  Another chance for the home side was wasted in the sixtieth minute when David McInally found Steve Kerrigan but the striker completely missed the target from just ten yards.

Near the end Clyde could have won the match when trialist Gary Arbuckle failed to score from a tight angle, after rounding the keeper.
