John Brown worked with Gibson as a youngster at Ibrox, where, like his namesake Jimmy, he was very highly regarded. He left Rangers for Partick Thistle and had mixed success at Firhill, before leaving for a productive spell in Ireland with St.Pat's Athletic. Clyde's new manager snapped him up in January when he became available and the former Scotland youth has been a key part of the team.
