Alan signed for Clyde on a temporary transfer from Rangers. He is a right-sided defender and made his senior debut against the Bully Wee in the League Cup tie at Ibrox in 2005. Alan will be keen to gain regular first team football during his loan period at Clyde. He started his loan spell in the best possible fashion by being part of the side that beat St. Johnstone on his first team debut.
