Clyde's first team squad were in action this afternoon and once again emerged victorious. The Bully Wee secured a 2-1 victory over SPL side Kilmarnock. It was a pleasing display that built upon Saturday's victory over Dumbarton.

Once again Clyde's midfield was the strength of the team with Masterton in particular shining against his former side. Masterton's fine performance was capped by his fabulous strike that broke deadlock. Kilmarnock equalised however the Bully Wee got a deserved winner with Dougie Imrie (pictured left) netting with his head following a great passing move.

The coaching staff were able to take a lot of positives from this match especially in the style that the players played, indeed the scoreline could have been more emphatic if Clyde had taken all of their chances.

Still the squad were delighted with the victory and are all looking forward to Saturday's match against Rangers at Broadwood and their first chance to play in front of the Bully Wee faithful.
