Nine Is Fine

Clyde's Under 19 squad marked their return to competitive action after their winter break in emphatic style. At the weekend the Bully Wee youngsters beat Elgin City 9-0.

Alan Upton, Youth Development Manager, was understandably delighted, "The whole team played very well. Paul Reynolds and Robert Ferguson were moved up from U17s and handled the step up well. Indeed Paul scored twice."

"Scott Upton signed last week after a trial period marked his debut with 2 goals and Sean McKenna also bagged a couple. The remaining scorers were Gary Shields, Mark Hastie and Mark Kirk."
