Jimmy Gibson, scorer of that fantastic match winning free-kick, has collected his first points towards the Spar Internet Player of the Year competition by winning the Man of the Match award for his performance on Saturday.

Gibson was the clear winner, amassing 45% of the total vote.

Bryn Halliwell, who kept a clean sheet, was second (2 points) and defenders John Potter and Alan Kernaghan were joint third (1 point each).
