Same Trio Out For Clyde
Alan Kernaghan was pleased to report today that he has no fresh injury or suspension worries ahead of tomorrow's home match against struggling Highland outfit Ross County.
Willie Falconer isn't ready to make a comeback yet, and Andy Millen completes his 2 match suspension tomorrow. Mark McLaughlin is, of course, the other absentee.
Thankfully, Mark's virus is now thought to have ran it's course, and he can now concentrate on getting well again. He visited the doctor for more tests yesterday, and the Club should receive the results over the weekend. "This is good news but I would still say he won't be back until after New Year," said AK today. "We are being very cautious with him and working closely with his doctor."
Mark Gilhaney will again be in the squad but he'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out if he'll be involved or not.
On the game, Kernaghan said - "We need to start winning games against teams below us in the league. We've done alright against the teams round about us but tomorrow's game, especially since it's at home, is exactly the type of game we need to win if we are to keep climbing the table."
"It's a chance for us to get revenge for the CIS Cup match, and we should also have won up there having scored with 5 minutes to go. I saw County last week against Hearts and they are a good team. They'll play a 3-5-2 like us, so it will be a straight match up."
"We have been defending better of late and have also started scoring a few goals, so we feel we have an excellent chance in this one."
