SUMMARY
A strong Livingston outfit dominated most of this match, although it was Clyde that started better and, in fact, took an early lead. After good work by Mark Gilhaney on the right wing, Billy Reid fired a first time shot into the bottom corner superbly. Livi gradually came back into the match and scored two headers near the end of the half to make it 2-1 at half-time.
Paul Kane and Mark McLaughlin, both of whom did well, were taken off midway through the second half as a precaution leaving a young Clyde side on the park. This proved to be too much and Livingston scored twice in the last ten minutes (including a penalty) to make the scoreline more emphatic.
Assistant Manager Billy Reid said he was "quite happy with the exercise considering the age of the Clyde side."
